Weekend Summary

Our sixth annual Men in the Word weekend Bible study will take place in Round Rock, Texas.

Theme: Marriage & the Family

Few things are more fundamental to the human existence than family. For most people, our earliest experiences are shared with our parents, our earliest friendships are with our siblings, and our core worldview is shaped by those closest to us.

The pages of Scripture are filled with commentary on the family. From God’s plan for the first family, to the chosen family of Abraham, to the adoption we are able to receive through Christ – family is an important concept. A healthy biblical understanding of marriage and the family is of great importance, even for those who never marry or have kids of their own. No single sermon (or series of sermons) can fully appreciate all God has to say about the family relationships. With that in mind, we have chosen fewer topics this year, each of which will receive more time than in previous years to allow for a Q&A discussion.

The focus of this year’s Men in the Word weekend will be both gaining a better understanding of the family and practical ways to glorify God in our family relationships.

Below, you will find an overview of the schedule for the weekend as well as a registration form to attend.
