Weekend Summary

Our fourth annual Men in the Word weekend Bible study took place in Round Rock, Texas.

Theme: “Transformed: Men Living in the Image of Christ”

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:1-2

Christian men are asking important questions.
“How can I be better leader in my home and in my church?”
“What practical steps can I take to be a better husband, father, and brother?”
“How do I deal with temptations common to men?”
“How do I find value in my work?”
“What should be my priority as I age?”

Those are big questions, but they all share something in common: Men transformed into the image of Christ are going to look different in all of these areas compared to men who have not.
The focus of our study in 2024 was how our transformation in Christ affects specific aspects and roles we have as men.
